In 2023, Nike will be releasing the newest Nike Court Vapor model. The design has similarities to both the Nike React Vapor NXT and the Nike Vapor Cage 4, seemingly merging some of the more popular elements. It is expected to feature "Vapor 11" on the heel. Carlos Alcaraz has recently been seen practicing in the model.
It will feature a thin, detached tongue, and an outsole tread pattern similar to the Nike React Vapor NXT. In the medial side of the shoes the outsole rubber is raised to reinforce high-wear areas; very similar to the adidas SoleMatch model. The top two lace eyelets on the medial side are shielded like the Zoom Vapor Cage 4, preventing breaks when sliding.
The asymmetric lacing system used in the Nike Zoom Vapor Pro and Nike Zoom Vapor Cage 4, is no longer used, marking a return to more standard lacing.
