In early 2022, Nike will be releasing the NikeCourt Zoom Pro NXT. It is expected to be an update of the Nike Zoom GP Turbo which was endorsed by several top ATP and WTA players. Frances Tiafoe is currently using the sneakers in early tournaments in Australia.
The most notable technology of the new shoe is the Nike Flyplate technology that has already been popular on Nike running models– a carbon fiber midsole plate. The Flyplate actually runs over a gap in the midsole of the shoe which is certainly a striking look. The overall look is somewhat reminiscent of the Nike Breath Cage sneakers Rafael Nadal wore back in 2007.
